Caesarean birth can be positive

Whatever we may think of the UK caesarean rate, the fact is a significant number of us will have a caesarean, planned or otherwise. My work over the last six years with practitioners and women preparing for birth and those who have already started their families has made it abundantly clear that this mode of birth is both feared and stigmatised by many.
